Our session together is one of a kind...tailored to you, in a way that only custom portraiture can provide.
Your needs.
Your family.
We will start by discussing your family's personality, style and charm and come up with possible locations for your session. We can also discuss clothing choices, hair, shoes...whatever you want to know! I want to make sure you feel perfectly at ease with choosing me as your memory maker.
After we decide on place, we will set a date, keeping in mind that the best times to photograph during the summer, is either before 10:00 AM or after 4:30 PM in the afternoon. Sessions last typically 1-2 hours. To keep my sessions personalized to you, I do not book more than 2 or 3 on a weekend. Establishing a fantastic relationship with you means so much to me and if I want to remain fresh and energetic for our time together.
A few days prior to our session, I will send a reminder note to you. This will remind you of our session, date and time. It will also include a statement if there is an outstanding balance still due.
On the day of our session, we will take all the time we need. I do not want our time together to be rushed or stressed. As the person being photographed, you may carry the extra burden of wanting everything go perfectly. Particuarly, when children are involved, we want to make sure our children are well behaved, facing the camera, smiling on cue (I know, I am a mother as well)...while those photos have a place in our session, sometimes the unscripted moments make the best family photos! So do not worry is baby is cranky, or two year old won't settle down, or someone's hair is flying out of place.
WE HAVE TIME. It will be great!
A few days after our session, you will see a "sneak peak" on my Facebook page or on my photography blog. I love doing these and I think clients like to see them too. About ten days after that, I will be finished with your portraits and we can begin discussing your options for prints (if you would like).
