Know someone who is getting married and needing a photographer?

I am giving a smokin’ hot discount off the first THREE brides who book their weddings with me. It might be worth it to pass my information along to them. It might be worth it to you too! If your friend schedules a wedding with me, then YOU will get a $25 credit toward your own photography session. Not only that, I will also give you a FREE 16 x 20 photo of your favorite picture from your session.

Thanks for passing my name on to your friends and family <3!!

OK, I have to admit....its not really "trashing the dress" if the photos look so pretty.

But I can't help it! I have pretty friends!

and while it may not be "trashing your dress" in the traditional sense of trashing; I only want to push the ladies as far as they are comfortable. For me, while they are doing something unconventional in their dresses, I want them to still feel pretty and feminine and think back fondly on when they really wore their dress in the weddings. This is fun!

a fun photo. On the left, I was practicing with my dodge and burn tool...I may have over done it a bit, but I love it nonetheless. On the right, a cool, crisp clean photo. Fun session!

I want to do more :)

Is it almost summer already?! And the weather in AZ is simply beautiful right now! Let's schedule your family session...maternity/newborn...one year old birthdays...engagements and WEDDINGS!

I am doing TRASH your DRESS sessions for FREE for the time being. What is trash your dress? I first fell in love with the concept of Trash the Dress after seeing it on the Today Show almost a year ago. I loved the idea, the fun of it...the unconventionality of putting on your wedding dress and getting crazy! The silliness of it! Well, I finally was able to get someone to do it with me and I love it! These sessions take about 30 minutes. We shoot some traditional shots and then we get a little crazy. For the time being, I am offering Trash the Dress sessions for FREE (but this can change at any time). Go check out my blog to see the recent session I did.

Additionally, I am now offering Birthday Sessions…got a little person turning one soon or a fun and fabulous older child party? What about a new teen coming up! Birthday sessions are for any age. It’ll be fun! Contact me for prices!

If you are Mom, my Mother’s Day Celebration Special was 20% your family session, this includes up to 4 persons ($10 per person over 4). This ends June 30. So contact me for details!!

Lastly, do you know someone who is newly engaged and getting married? If you refer them and they contract their wedding with me, I will give you a free family mini-session as a thank you for the referral.

(okay, not so lastly). Now this is lastly! I have gift certificates in any amount. WHEW!

eyefull: The Crowl Family

Its always a privilege when another photographer asks you to take their family photos. I would like to think that they see in your photos an "eye" for detail in the photography sessions. Also, it is just plain "neat" to get a thumbs up from someone who has been in the business longer than I and takes beautiful photographs of her own.

Meet Stella Crowl of Style Image Studios, her husband Kyle and their two daughters!

Fun Fun Fun. This session was just a bold bright pop against an already beautiful background. I brought the two stools and the zebra bench with this family in mind and thankfully Stella was all about the color.

logo2

Check out baby sister! OK, does she just stand out as a perfect flower in this big vast orchard.

Big sister R. Beautiful. Temperatmental. Full of Awe.

logo3

Stella and Kyle.
So I was telling my husband that I hoped that we could get to know this family a little better (and I have an idea for that Stella!).

One of the last photos of the evening. The sun was falling and the wind was picking up. But it was fun to tramp out into this field of hay and snap a few last shots of the Crowl Family.

logo6

And one more...which is really a shout out to my friend Myriam who has one of these fabulous zebra print benches and told me where to get one...walmart.com people! That's right! My new favorite photo prop (it is also sitting under my upstairs bay window).
